Terms of Service

Effective October 11, 2026 · Last updated October 11, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and [[OPERATOR_LEGAL_NAME]] ("we", "us") about your use of the Brains browser game, its website at playbrains.online and its test server (together, "Brains" or the "Game"). By creating an account or playing, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Refund Policy and the Game Rules. If you don't agree, please don't use Brains.

1. Who can play

2. Your account

3. Virtual items and currency

4. Purchases

5. Playing fair

You agree to follow the Game Rules. In short: no cheating, bots, scripts or exploits; no harassment; no real-money trading. If you find a bug that gives an unfair advantage, report it instead of using it.

6. What you post

7. Our content

Brains, including its code, art, text, characters and names, belongs to us or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, sell or redistribute it, or reverse engineer the Game, except as the law allows. All characters and events in the Game are fictional, including parody characters based on real people. The Game contains coarse language and crude humor.

8. Enforcement

If you break these Terms or the Game Rules, we may warn, mute, kick or ban your account, remove Virtual Items gained unfairly, or delete the account. Serious or repeated problems can lead to a permanent ban without refund. You can contact us if you think we made a mistake.

9. Changes and availability

Brains is an ongoing project and may change, go down for maintenance, or (in the worst case) shut down. We'll try to give notice in game before shutting the Game down. We may update these Terms; if the changes are important we'll announce them in game, and continuing to play after that means you accept them.

10. Disclaimers

Brains is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no promises that it will be error-free, uninterrupted or that progress or Virtual Items will never be lost.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for the loss of Virtual Items or progress. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 6 months before the claim. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [[GOVERNING_STATE]], United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, unless the law where you live requires otherwise.

13. Contact
