Game Rules
Brains is a crude, silly game, but it's played by real people. These rules keep it fun and fair. Breaking them can get you warned, muted, kicked or banned, and anything gained unfairly can be removed. Staff have the final say.
1. Play fair
- No bots, scripts, macros or automation outside the Game's own Auto features. That includes browser extensions or tools that click, play or send requests for you.
- No exploiting bugs. If something gives free Bucks, Brain Chunks, items or an unfair edge, report it with Report A Bug. Players who abuse them may be banned.
- No multi-account abuse. Don't use extra accounts to feed your main account, to win your own Market listings or trades, to vote or bet more than once, or to dodge a mute or ban.
- No real-money trading. Don't buy or sell Bucks, Brain Chunks, items, accounts or services for real money or anything outside the Game.
- No account sharing or selling. Your account is yours alone.
2. Be decent
- Trash talk is fine. Harassment, threats, bullying or targeting a player over and over is not.
- No hate speech or slurs aimed at anyone's race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexuality, disability or similar.
- No sharing anyone's personal information (real name, address, photos, social accounts) without their permission.
- No sexual content involving minors, ever. This is reported to the authorities.
- No pretending to be staff, the Keeper, the Hermit, or another player.
3. Chat
- No spam, flooding, or advertising other games, sites or services.
- No scams, including fake trades, "send me your items and I'll double them", or phishing links.
- Keep it mostly in English in Global chat so staff can moderate it. Other languages are fine in clan and private chat.
4. Names
Usernames, clan names, set names and titles can't be offensive, sexual, hateful, or impersonate staff or real people in a misleading way. Staff may rename or remove them.
5. Staff
- Follow staff instructions in chat. If you disagree with a decision, email [[CONTACT_EMAIL]] calmly instead of arguing in Global chat.
- Staff will never ask for your password.
6. Reporting
Use Report A Bug in the Game for bugs and exploits. For player behavior, message a staff member or email [[CONTACT_EMAIL]]. Include usernames and roughly when it happened.
